Apple Picking
What is your favourite apple? McIntosh, Lady Pink, Cortland, Honey Crisp, or Gala? To me, those freshly picked apples are the best! Nothing can beat that.
My first apple picking experience three years ago was great. I missed it so much that I wanted to go again! The apples were fresh & crisp, and tasted better than those store-bought ones. Besides eating on its own, apple is great for baking too.
$6 for 10lb bag of apples (McIntosh, Lobo, Gravenstein etc.)! It’s a price that you can never find at the grocery stores. Furthermore, the fun of picking apples off the trees is priceless!

My favorite is Fuji Apple. It’s the best – it is guaranteed to be sweet and crisp. NZ has the best Fuji apples. I haven’t heard of McIntosh, Cortland, or Honey Crisp. They have recently introduced a new type of apple, can’t remember the name exactly, but I think there is a “Josh” something.
$6 for 10lb is very cheap. Can you finish that much? Can make desserts out of them huh?

Ai Shiang,
Fuji apple is my favourite in Malaysia. McIntosh, Cortland, and Honey Crisp are the local apples here. Those apples were picked for a good deal. I’m sharing them out and will probably consider making apple dessert someday ;)
One of the fancy apples I tasted here is called the Grapples (grape flavoured apple). With the apple texture and grape flavour, they’re crisp and sweet.

Mom,
Thanks for the birthday gift! It has played an important role in capturing those bright red apples hanging from the trees :)
